Abstracts are welcome on evaluation that covers all forms of energy production, use, disposal, environmental mitigation and sustainability. We also welcome evaluation on policy, governance issues and social behavioral change.
Open to anyone working in the evaluation fields including scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students. Topics include:
1.
Consumer Marketing and Intelligence (e.g., Marketing strategies and
effectiveness, identifying potential or premium customers)
2. Evaluating Products and Services (e.g., Competitive pricing, emerging technologies)
3.
Understanding Customers and Customer Behaviour (e.g., Measuring the
impact of media campaigns, education programs, importance of social
marketing in promotional campaigns)
4. Performance Management (e.g., Measuring and identifying baselines; portfolio versus project performance)
5. Monitoring and Evaluation of Markets and Market Transformation (e.g., Evaluating regional efforts and quantifying savings)
6.
Energy Programs in the Context of Sustainability (e.g., Evaluating
efficiency, sustainability and green programs, carbon reduction
strategies, codes/standards)
7. Evaluation Designs, Implementation
and Results (e.g., Process, impact and market evaluations, quantifying
non-energy benefits, top-down vs. bottom-up evaluation, statistical
methods, joint implementation and clean development mechanisms)
8.
Energy Programs as a Utility System Resource (e.g. Public/private
partnerships, evaluating alternative program delivery mechanisms,
evaluation of integrated intelligent utility systems)
9. Addressing
Public Policy Issues (e.g., Evaluation of efficiency or green programs,
greenhouse gas mitigation strategies and effects-national, state, city
or international), verifying program performance (meeting compliance
requirements), policy evaluation in particular methodologies to
evaluate National Energy Efficiency Action Plans and Strategies and for
calculating national energy savings)
10. International Energy Program Evaluation
(e.g.,
Standards and Practices at the regional, national and international
level, cross national comparisons, white certificates).
